Vision Statement

The Brawn Foundation is recognized for creating, developing and supporting programs and projects that impact the Calgary area by generating opportunities for groups and individuals in health, education or community activities.

Guiding Principles

• Our primary principle is that we endeavor to always give back to this community that has given so much to us. 
   
• The Brawn Foundation will champion a variety of causes, some on a large scale and some lesser known. We will look for opportunities to support or create projects for those lesser known, less popular projects, programs or charities. 
   
• We will remain flexible and open to supporting causes that have special meaning or significance for family members. 
   
• If there is any question, concern or skepticism about a cause then it will not be considered, i.e., if its legitimacy is in doubt, if its premise goes against family values. 
   
• We will be proactive in seeking out or creating projects, programs, or services that we would like to promote and develop, that fit within the Foundation parameters. 
   
• We will emphasize sustainability in our choices. We will look to find a balance between starting a project and having it continue. Look for opportunities to identify the Brawn Foundation with the program, project, service or charity.
